Environmental engineer/scientist/analyst
Location: Beijing, China

A national institute is seeking an experienced environmental engineer/scientist/analyst to work on the environmental contamination damage and remediation projects.

Requirements:
PhD degree in environmental engineering/science/hydrogeology;
Hands on experience in site investigation and remediation;
Must have experience in natural resource damage, litigation support, and expert witness;
Ability to work in both a team environment as well as independently to research, synthesize data, and prepare reports;
Strong technical writing skills

Salary and benefits:

Environmental/Remediation Engineer
Location: Beijing, China

A full-spectrum environmental and remediation firm has a long-term career opportunity for an environmental/remediation engineer to join their dynamic team of environmental, geotechnical, and construction engineering professionals. With offices in Beijing, Wuhan, Nanjing, Jinan, and Guangzhou, the firm has consistently delivered quality solutions and results to clients.

The environmental/remediation engineer will join a team of over 100 full-time employees coming from a variety of backgrounds including environmental, civil, geotechnical, soil physicists, and scientists to name a few.

The primary duties and responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to:
i. Designing, planning, and overseeing site investigation and monitoring programs;
ii. Conducting data analyses, including data evaluation, visualization, and reporting;
iii. Completing remediation technology evaluations, cost estimates, and conceptual designs;
iv. Preparing technical design packages, including drawings, specifications and calculations; and
v. Developing technical reports and proposals.

The minimum qualifications for this position are a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in civil or environmental engineering, or a closely related discipline. An advanced degree in engineering with an emphasis on the environment is strongly preferred. Experiences or licensed in North America or EU is desirable, as is experience with MS Office, AUTOCAD, GIS, and other relevant technical applications. The ability and willingness to perform fieldwork and travel are also required.

Remediation Engineer
A national consulting and construction company has an immediate opening for an engineer specializing in soil and groundwater remediation. The firm works on a diverse range of ground engineering, environmental investigation and remediation projects for commercial, industrial, mining, oil and gas, and waste management companies.

The successful candidate will perform engineering calculations and prepare design specifications with guidance, work as part of a team preparing feasibility studies for cleanup alternatives, assist with remediation design and cost estimating, prepare scopes of work for subcontractors (e.g., drillers, surveyors, etc.). Perform field work in support of site investigations (e.g., soil and groundwater sampling) and remediation. Prepare environmental plans and reports with guidance. Position will involve periodic travel.

The candidate should have a minimum of three (3) years of environmental remediation experience. Must have a Bachelors or higher degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering; An advanced degree is preferred. This position will be located in Beijing, China.
